The assistant window stands in for the AI app of your choice. Every answer in it is a live response from Platy. The quote record on the right is the real software.

The stack you have now

Eight tools. Eight bills. You’re the glue.

A quoting appwhile the real price list lives in your head.
A scheduling calendarthat has no idea what a route is.
An invoicing toolwhere you retype what the quote already said.
Card payments, bolted onwith the money routed through somebody else.
Bookkeeping softwarefed by hand at the kitchen table.
Texts on your personal phonewith no record on the job.
Voicemailwhere missed calls go to die.
Paper checklistson the dashboard of the wrong truck.

Most landscaping companies run on a pile of apps that don’t talk to each other, plus a phone full of texts holding it all together.

Platy OS is one system. The quote becomes the job, the job becomes the route, the route becomes the invoice, the invoice becomes the books. One login, one bill, $297 a month for all of it.

Quote by talking to your AI

The assistant you already use, pointed at your business.

Platy connects to ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or any AI assistant that speaks the same open standard, MCP. Add one address and it can read your whole book of work and price new jobs on your own numbers, straight from a chat. No new app to learn, and it sees only your company’s records, never another company’s.

01

Paste one address.

Add the connector address Platy gives you to the assistant you already use, ChatGPT, Claude, Codex, whichever it is. Sign in once, approve it, done.

02

Ask in plain words.

How is the business doing, who owes me, which jobs are thin. Your assistant answers from your live book of work, not from anything a model made up.

03

Quote it, and it lands in Platy.

Describe a job the way you would to your crew lead. It prices the work on your own material costs and labor rates and saves the draft straight into Platy, ready for you to send.

It can read and it can draft a quote. It never sends anything to your customer, and it never charges a card. Those stay your call.

How it works

Then the rest of the day runs itself.

The quote you just built becomes the job, the route, the invoice and the books, with nobody retyping anything in between.

Step 1

Schedule it.

Book the work, assign a crew, and the day’s stops order themselves into a drivable route. Nobody crosses town twice, and nobody sits at a laptop planning it.

Texts, on the client’s record
Marisol Vega · Fall cleanup · Thu
Hey, can you add the side yard beds to Thursday’s visit?
Can do. I’ll add it to the job, about $240 extra. OK?
Perfect, go ahead.
Text Marisol back…
Step 2

Send the crew.

The crew runs the day from their phones: the route, the materials checklist, one button per stop. When a client texts to add work, the thread lives on their record in Platy, beside every job you have done for them, not buried in your personal messages.

Step 3

Get paid.

The finished job becomes a real PDF invoice with nothing retyped. Your customer approves, pays by card in their own hub, and the money lands in your Stripe account.

The crew app

Your crew will actually use it.

One screen. Today’s stops, the materials list, one button. That’s the whole app, on purpose.

  • Works offline. A dead zone at the back of a property doesn’t stop the day, and everything syncs when the signal comes back.
  • The checklist comes straight off the quote, so the trailer gets loaded right the first time.
  • No menus to learn. If they can send a text, they can run it.

Getting paid

The money lands in your account. Not ours.

Card payments land in your own Stripe account. Their statement shows your name and the money never passes through us. Most software in this category routes your money through itself, or takes a cut on the way past. We don’t touch it.

  • Real PDF invoices your customer can open, read and pay online.
  • Every customer gets their own login to approve quotes, pay invoices, save a card and ask for more work.
  • Your books build themselves from your bank feed: P&L, balance sheet, cash forecast and a clean export for your CPA.

The owner app

Create a client, quote, job or invoice from the truck, and get pushed the moment a quote is approved.

Client records

Every client’s full history in one place, findable even when the name arrived mangled by voice-to-text.

Your AI, connected

Point your own AI assistant at your book of work: ask it anything, price new jobs, and save the quote straight into Platy.

Job costing

See what a job actually made, once its costs are in. The more receipts you capture, the sharper it gets.

One trade, done right

Built for landscaping, lawn care and irrigation.

The units are yards, pallets and stops, not generic “jobs” with a green coat of paint. It is built for landscaping, lawn care and irrigation crews, and it fits a company with one truck the same as one with five.

Mulch by the yard

Beds priced from square feet and your own cost per yard.

Sod by the pallet

Pallet counts and delivery on the quote, not a vague line item.

Routes that repeat

Weekly and biweekly mowing that rebooks itself and orders into a loop.

Hardscape and drainage

Patios, walls and French drains priced from your own material costs and your crew’s real speed.

The proving ground

It ran a real company before it ran yours.

Platy OS was built inside Yard Dog Landscapes, which has been mowing, planting and building across Longview and the rest of East Texas since 2017. Not a pilot customer, not a design partner. The company the software was written in, on jobs that were already sold, for a crew that was already rolling. Every screen on this page had to survive a Monday there first.

Miller Maines owns Yard Dog Landscapes. He built Platy OS to run it, long before it was a product.

I run Yard Dog Landscapes in Longview, Texas. Platy OS is the software we built to run it, because everything I could buy either did half the job or charged per seat for the other half. It priced our quotes, routed our crews and kept our books long before it was a product.

It’s a young product, and I’d rather say that plainly than pretend otherwise. What you get in return: a real person on the other end when something needs fixing, not a sales team. And if it doesn’t fit how you run your company, I’ll tell you that too.

Questions

What owners ask us.

Will my crew actually use it?The crew app is one screen with one button: today’s stops, the materials checklist, and Mark stop complete. It keeps working when the signal drops, so a dead zone at the back of a property doesn’t stop the day. If your guys can send a text, they can run this.
How does the AI quoting work? Do I have to learn a new app?No. You use the AI assistant you already have, ChatGPT, Claude, Codex or another, and add one connector address to it. Then you just describe the job in plain words and it prices the work on your own material costs and labor rates and saves the draft into Platy for you to send. Nothing is priced from numbers a model invented.
How long does switching take?Signup is self-serve, and you can send your first quote the same day. You don’t have to stop using anything else until you’re ready to, so you can run Platy alongside what you have now and switch over at your own pace.
Is this built for companies bigger than mine? No. It was built inside a landscaping company that runs a mowing route and an install crew, and the price is flat, so a second crew doesn’t raise the bill. If you quote jobs, run stops and chase invoices, it fits.
What does it really cost?$297 a month, per company. Unlimited users, no per-seat charges, no setup fee, no add-on tiers. Card processing is Stripe’s standard rate, paid to Stripe: we don’t take a cut of your payments.
Am I locked in?No. Month to month, cancel anytime, no contract. Your books export clean for your CPA whenever you want them, and if you ever leave, we’ll help you take your data with you.
Who else is using this? I’ve never heard of you. It’s early, and we’d rather say that than fake a logo wall. The honest answer is that Platy OS runs Yard Dog Landscapes in Longview, Texas, and has done since before it was sold to anyone: real crews, real payroll, real customers. You can see the company, the trucks and the crew further up this page. Start today and judge the software, not the marketing.
