What to look for in lawn care software
The sticker price is rarely the price. These are the things that decide what you really pay and how much work the software takes off your plate.
- Per-user pricing. A price that climbs with every crew member makes hiring cost twice.
- Contracts and setup fees. An annual contract or an onboarding fee is money you pay before you know the software fits.
- Books built in, or a sync to QuickBooks. A sync usually means paying for a second product.
- Texting clients from a business number, so work texts stay off your personal phone.
- A crew app your whole crew can use, with the day’s route in order.
