Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 19, 2026

This is a plain-language statement, and it is not legal advice. It describes a target and a process, not a claim that every page is fully accessible today.

Our target

We are working toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, for getplaty.com. That is our target, not a certification: we have not had the site independently audited, and we are not claiming full conformance. What follows is what we have actually done, and how to tell us when something falls short.

What is already built

A few things on this site were built for accessibility deliberately, not as an afterthought:

  • A skip link at the top of every page, so a keyboard user can jump straight to the main content instead of tabbing through the header first.
  • Visible focus indicators everywhere: a 3px outline at a contrast of 10.24:1 against the page, so you can always see where keyboard focus is.
  • Support for reduced motion. If your system is set to reduce motion, this site turns off its scroll and entrance animations rather than ignoring that setting.
  • Keyboard-operable video players. Every recorded demo uses a native video element with standard controls, so it can be played, paused and scrubbed from a keyboard, and the step-by-step walkthroughs use a native dialog with arrow-key navigation.
  • Body text that clears AA contrast. Every text and background color pair we use for body copy has been measured, and none of them falls below the 4.5:1 ratio AA requires.

What we know is not there yet

A target is not the same as an arrival. We have not commissioned a formal audit against every WCAG 2.1 AA success criterion, and a young marketing site changes often enough that a new page or component can ship before every detail has been checked by hand. If you run into something that does not work with a screen reader, cannot be reached by keyboard, or is hard to read, that is exactly what the next section is for.

Reporting a problem

If you hit an accessibility barrier anywhere on getplaty.com, tell us at hello@getplaty.com. Say what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what happened instead. A real person reads that inbox, and we will acknowledge your report and work with you on a fix or a workaround. We cannot promise a fix by a specific date on every report, but we will tell you what we are doing about it.

The product itself

This statement covers the marketing site at getplaty.com. The Platy OS product that customers and their crews use day to day is a separate application, built and improved on its own schedule, and it is not covered by this page.

Changes to this statement

If we change this statement, we will change the date at the top. We will not quietly walk back a commitment made here.
