Quote deposits now always come off the invoice
Platy teamPublished When a client pays a deposit on a quote, the invoice for that work now takes it off every time and shows the line "Deposit paid on quote". If a deposit could not be applied, the invoice says why and gives you an Apply deposit button.

- The deposit comes off whichever way the invoice was made: completing a visit, invoicing a day, or starting one by hand
- The invoice shows "Deposit paid on quote" with the amount, and the balance owed drops
- If it could not be applied, the invoice says why, with an Apply deposit button
- A deposit payment now shows which quote it was for and which invoice used it

Anything to do?If an invoice you have not sent yet is missing a deposit, open it and press Apply deposit.
Common questions
Does a quote deposit come off the invoice in Platy OS?
Yes. The invoice for that work takes the deposit off and shows a line reading Deposit paid on quote, however the invoice was made.
What if a deposit was not applied?
The invoice says why and shows an Apply deposit button. Press it once and the balance drops.
Can a deposit be counted twice?
No. A deposit is applied to one invoice only, and a second invoice for the same job does not take it again.
